ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested six more accused in connection with the high-profile murder case of Noor Muqadam, who will be produced before a magistrate for physical remand.
In the latest development, police arrested Dr. Tahir, owner of a physiotherapy center, and five others in a raid on Saturday night. The accused have been taken into custody for hiding information and facts from investigators.
Police officials said the scope of investigation in the Noor murder case has been widened and police investigators are now questioning the accused. Among those arrested was a man named Amjad, who was stabbed by Zahir Zakir Jaffer, the killer of Noor Muqadam.

Police delayed his detention due to injuries and he is now behind bars. All the accused arrested in the latest raid will be produced before a magistrate for physical remand.
It is to be noted that accused Zahir Jaffer had killed his friend Noor Muqadam and beheaded him. The authorities had arrested the main accused and his parents and accomplices who are all on physical remand with the police.
