Police in Khyaban-e-Sir Syed Rawalpindi on Tuesday arrested four members of a gang who would prepare fake documents, including visas, for the Afghans living in the country in order to prevent their deportation to Afghanistan.
Police said they had also recovered fake visas, laptops, colour printers, passports and 25 residential permits from the suspects, namely Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Zubair, Abual Fazl and Ali Zada, who were themselves Afghans.
Police further said that Abual Fazl was a computer editor who would make rejected visas usable again through the PDF editor.
The suspects would receive Rs10,000 in lieu of making the passports usable again.
A case was registered on the complaint of ASI Naveed.
