PUTRAJAYA: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Malaysia would strengthen bilateral relations between two countries.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the visit would convert friendly terms into vital relations.
Qureshi said that there were approximately 82,000 Pakistanis working in Malaysia but in any case, if a Pakistani dies in Malaysia, his family would receive a pension.
The foreign minister further said that the enclosures from Malaysia have increased by 35 percent this year.
He added that the prime minister had conveyed to his Malaysian counterpart that Pakistan wanted to end differences between Muslim countries.
Imran Khan earlier held a meeting with Malaysian premier Mahathir Mohamad to discuss the bilateral relations.
Both the prime ministers discussed the ways and means to further expand their relations in different fields including trade, economy, and tourism.
The prime minister would address a think-tank event organized by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies of Malaysia.
Both premiers had agreed for regular discussions to strengthen the trade and investment relations by removing barriers in key areas.
