LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Punjab on Tuesday arrested Muslim League (N) Member National Assembly Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf on charges of fraud and forgery.
According to details obtained by MM News, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf is MNA of Muslim League (N) from Constituency No. 161 of Sahiwal.
The Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) alleges that Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf has taken possession of 157 acres 1 kanal 16 marla of government land by forgery and fraud, using fake ‘gardawari’ in connivance with Muhammad Salim Patwari and Ali Gardawar.
Accused MNA Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf of PMLN was finally arrested by the Anti-Corruption Department after the charges against him proved true.
The Punjab Anti-Corruption Department has registered a case number 18/22 and arrested MNA Chaudhary Muhammad Ashraf.
