LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) members of the standing committees of Punjab Assembly submitted their resignations to the Speaker today.
PML-N members of the provincial assembly submitted their resignations from the standing committees at the secretariat of the provincial legislature.

The PML-N’s members resigned from standing committees to protest against the rejection of the Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz’s appointment as chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
97 out of 100 members of the standing committees had submitted their resignations to the PML-N leadership.
