PMD warns of another heavy rain spell in Karachi

The Meteorological Department in Karachi has predicted heavy rain with strong winds this evening.

Regarding the weather situation, the Department of PMD said that the Monsoon system is moving towards the east and northeast of Karachi, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds in the city till this evening.

It should be remembered that the roads have started to show the appearance of ponds in some areas due to late-night thunderstorms in the city, while the Meteorological Department said that the rain will continue till August 14.

The Meteorological Department released the rainfall data last night, according to which 39.5 mm of rain was recorded in Quaidabad, 22.0 mm in DC South Sadar area, 20.4 mm in Jinnah Terminal, and 28.0 mm in Gulshan Hadeed.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted more rains in other parts of the country including Thatta, Dadu, Badin, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar in the next 24 hours.
