PM to visit National Command, Operation Center today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit the National Command and Operation Center today.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan confirmed the news in a tweet in which she wrote that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa would accompany him on the occasion.

Firdous Ashiq Awan further wrote that the civil and military leadership was completely prepared to protect the people from the spread of coronavirus, moreover, the nation must stand united to defeat the danger. 
Awan earlier said that the federal government’s package, including food, and protective gear will be provided in all provinces across the country. The journalists visiting quarantine centres to report on the COVID-19 pandemic would ALSO be provided kits of protective gear, she asserted.
According to Awan, the government has been trying its level best to help the citizens in a difficult time. The state has taken all the possible steps to curb the spread of the COVID-19, she added.
