ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet the players of the national cricket team today with the aim of encouraging those who are preparing for the World Cup in the near future.
According to details, the players of the national cricket team led by Babar Azam will meet PM Imran Khan today. The prime minister will boost the morale of the national squad for the World Cup.
The players have been concerned since the recent cancellation of the tour of Pakistan by New Zealand and England. The prime minister will discuss the whole situation with the players.

Reliable sources said that PM Imran Khan has an excellent record of cricket under whose leadership the national cricket team won the 1992 World Cup. The present cricket team is determined to meet the prime minister.
The national cricket team under the leadership of Babar Azam is preparing to name the World Cup Pakistan. Incumbent PCB chairman Rameez Raja was also part of the 1992 cricket team that won the World Cup.
It may be recalled that earlier, PM Imran Khan had hinted at making former cricketer Rameez Raja chairman of the PCB, soon after which Rameez Raja took over the chairmanship.
PCB chairman Ehsan Mani and former cricketer and commentator Rameez Raja called on PM Imran Khan on August 23 last month, during which important issues of the board were discussed.
