ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to launch the ‘Hunarmand Pakistan Program’ today in the federal capital.
The prime minister’s ‘Hunarmand Pakistan Program’ will equip the youth with market-oriented skills.
The program will be carried out in the next four years. It will cost 30 billion rupees and will facilitate youth through easy loans, internships, and start-ups.
Around 75 smart classrooms will be set up to ensure easy access to skill and professional education besides the provision of such training at 70 Madaris.
Five Centres of Excellence will also be established under the program in collaboration with friendly countries.
According to Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar, the program will prove to be a milestone in providing jobs and business opportunities to over eighty percent of the youth.
Imran Khan in his previous month, Imran Khan launched the Sehat Insaf Card facility for the transgender community which provided insurance to the most vulnerable segments of society.
Through this card, transgenders will get free-of-charge medical coverage which will also include the dialysis of the kidney and heart diseases.
