ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will issue a Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card aimed at providing free medical services to the people in the federal capital.
According to details, PM Imran Khan will issue Qaumi Sehat Card in Islamabad today. Homes with health cards will be eligible for up to 1 million medical facilities.
The prime minister will also address the launch of the health card. Citizens of Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Tharparkar will be able to avail health cards.

Health cardholders will be able to avail treatment not only in government but also in private hospitals. Cardholders will be able to get free treatment for the following diseases:
Heart disease
A complication of diabetes that can lead to hospitalization
Accidental injury
Other road accidents
Fracture
Burn out
Neurological complications
Kidney transplants and other treatments
Cancer
Blood disease (thalassemia)
Jaundice
Maternity and Pregnancy (Pregnancy)
According to Special Health Assistant Dr. Faisal Sultan, the health card will be useful for the whole country except Sindh, however, its registration in different divisions is yet to be activated.
