PM to hold meetings with Punjab cabinet members in Lahore today

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Lahore today on a one-day visit to hold meetings with Punjab cabinet members.
It is to be noted that it will be Imran Khan’s first visit to Lahore after the COVID-19 outbreak, which has affected more than 2,500 people across the country. The meeting will be held at the Governor House.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar will brief the prime minister on measures to provide ration to the needy. Along with the Governor, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and other influential personalities are also expected to attend the meeting.
According to the provided details, the cabinet will discuss the review of the ongoing coronavirus situation. A briefing will be given to the officials over financial matters. 
Earlier on Friday, the prime minister announced an incentivized package for the construction industry in order to increase employment opportunities in the country in the wake of coronavirus outbreak. Announcing the package, he said those who invest in the sector will not be asked questions about their source of income, and said that fixed tax will be introduced in the construction sector now.
