ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of negligence shown by the institution in resolving complaints lodged on the Pakistan Citizen Portal.
According to the notice from the Prime Minister’s Office, the institutes misrepresented regarding citizens’ grievance. People were not satisfied with their solutions, the notice added.
The prime minister expressed anger after institutions showed laxity over the matter and ordered an investigation against the responsible persons.
Furthermore, it has been decided to reopen one hundred and six thousand complaints as citizens were dissatisfied over their solution.
Complaints resolved from 1st January to 30th April will be opened in phases. It has been decided to reopen 17,661 complaints from Punjab, 3,256 from Sindh, and 5,346 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
12,340 complaints from the federal and 482 from Balochistan will be reopened. PCP is a government-owned mobile application is being used as a tool to promote citizen-centric participatory governance.
