Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the federal cabinet tomorrow to take the members into confidence on the visit to America, in which the political and economic situation of the country will also be discussed.
According to the details, there will be a meeting of the National Security Committee at the Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday, in which the issue of audio leaks will also be considered. On Wednesday, the Prime Minister called a meeting of the federal cabinet. The Prime Minister will brief the Cabinet members on the progress during the US visit.
The Prime Minister will also inform the cabinet members about the major initiatives of the federal government in recent days. Ishaq Dar as Finance Minister is also expected to attend the cabinet meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on Wednesday, who arrived in Islamabad yesterday along with the Prime Minister.
Earlier, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail resigned from his post in view of the nomination of Ishaq Dar as the Finance Minister. The federal government is confident of making Ishaq Dar the finance minister who will soon take oath of office as a senator and federal finance minister.
