ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned the federal cabinet meeting to be held today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss the economic and political situation in the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss a seven-point agenda during the meeting.
The federal cabinet meeting chaired by the prime minister is expected to approve the issuance of national and international sukuk bonds. The Cabinet will also be briefed on GSP Plus status.
Federal cabinet members will also be briefed on appeals under the Trade Organization Act. A reduction in the cost of preventive injections from Corona will be approved.

The cabinet meeting will discuss various issues related to changes in visa policy. Approval will also be given to set up anti-money laundering police stations at Lahore and Multan airports.
Anti-money laundering police stations will also be set up at Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar airports. The federal cabinet will also ratify the decisions of the Economic Co-ordination Committee.
