ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for a visit to the flood-affected areas of Swat and Lower Kohistan, where relief operations are ongoing in view of the flood-induced situation.
According to the details, PM Shehbaz Sharif will visit Kalam and Kalanjo which are flood-affected areas of Swat and Patan area of Lower Kohistan and will meet the flood victims during his visit.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif will review the ongoing relief work for the flood victims and will also inspect the facilities provided in the relief camp while meeting the flood victims.

It should be noted that earlier the prime minister said that the developed world should not leave developing countries at the mercy of climate change. Pakistan is facing 8 percent of global environmental problems.
In his message on the social networking website Twitter yesterday, the prime minister said that Pakistan’s share in carbon emissions worldwide is only one percent, but Pakistan is facing eight percent of the environmental problems.
He said that he had a meeting with international media representatives in which they were informed about the devastation of floods in Pakistan. This disaster reflects the dangers posed by climate change.
