KARACHI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to open the 11th edition of Defense Exhibition – IDEAS 2022 – at the Karachi Expo Centre today.

Officials said that the IDEAS 2022, being the most strategically important event of the region, would once again bring together all the industry’s players across the globe to showcase the latest technological innovations. The 4 days of the Show are exclusively for trade visitors and high official defense delegates.
The exhibition, which will continue until November18, has attracted 64 countries who will display their latest and innovative products. As many as 285 delegations from 51 countries are participating in this year’s show. Australia, Romania and Hungary are participating for the first time.
Apart from the six halls of the expo centre, three marquees have also been set up, one of which has been named after Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Karachi traffic police shared a traffic plan for public during the four days of the 11th International Defense Exhibition and seminar IDEAS-2022 beginning from November 15, which will be held at the Karachi Expo Centre.
