ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has tested positive for COVID-19, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

The minister appealed to the nation and PML-N workers to pray for the health of the prime minister — who is also a cancer survivor.
It may be recalled that Shehbaz Sharif had returned recently from London where he was visiting his brother and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
