ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on Saturday agreed to work together to further augment and diversify their bilateral ties in all spheres, in particular trade, investment and employment generation opportunities.
The prime minister received a telephone call from Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the KSA Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud warmly congratulated Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
During the telephonic call, Prime Minister Shehbaz thanked the crown prince for the felicitations and expressed his resolve to work closely with Saudi Arabia to enhance and further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
PM Shehbaz paid tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Mohammad bin Salman for achieving remarkable progress and development in KSA under their visionary leadership.
He recalled the fraternal and historic bonds between the two nations, which he deemed a hallmark of their strategic relationship over the past seven decades, and further reaffirmed his government’s commitment to advancing these relations.
Shehbaz also thanked Saudi Arabia for its historic, continued support and cooperation, both bilaterally and at international forums, and assured the crown prince that Pakistan would stand by the kingdom.
Prince Mohammad bin Salman extended his cordial invitation to the premier for an official visit to the Kingdom, at an early date. Thanking him for his gracious invitation, PM Shehbaz also extended an invitation to the Crown Prince to undertake a state visit to Pakistan.
