According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep regret and concern over the incident in which eight Pakistani laborers were killed in Iran’s Sistan province. He urged the Iranian government to reveal the reasons behind the brutal murders and ensure the criminals are given due punishment.
In his condolence message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Iran must immediately arrest those involved in the killing of innocent Pakistanis. He emphasized that countries in the region must work together to ensure the implementation of a coordinated strategy against terrorism.
The Prime Minister has tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with contacting the families of the victims and has instructed the Pakistani Embassy in Iran to take immediate measures to ensure the safe return of the bodies of the deceased Pakistanis.
In response to the Prime Minister’s directives, the Foreign Office spokesperson said they are in contact with Iranian authorities for the repatriation of the bodies.
