Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that electricity be supplied to the residence of Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem.
In response to the Prime Minister’s instructions, the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has started upgrading the electricity system around Nadeem’s home in Chak 101/15 L, Mian Channu.
MEPCO has already delivered the necessary materials and equipment for the upgrade, including poles, transformers, and power lines.
On August 12, teams from MEPCO’s Kacha Khoh and Construction Sub-Division began installing the equipment to restore and enhance the power supply.
The upgrade will include the installation of four additional poles and a 100 kVA transformer.
These improvements will benefit the 200 households in Chak 101/15 L by strengthening the local power infrastructure.
MEPCO’s Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Nasir Ayaz Gurmani, along with Chief Engineer Development Saif Ullah Serani and SE Khanewal Circle Sajad Hussain Gondal, visited Arshad Nadeem’s residence to offer their congratulations on his Olympic achievements and to discuss the ongoing power system upgrades.
According to MEPCO’s spokesperson, the installation of the poles and transformer at Arshad Nadeem’s residence is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
