KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reached Bahadurabad where the temporary headquarters of MQM (Pakistan) is located where he will meet the party leaders.
According to details, a high-level delegation accompanied by PM Imran Khan, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Federal Ministers Ali Zaidi, Fawad Chaudhry and others reached the office of MQM, where they were received by Muttahida leadership and PTI members.
Prior to his arrival in Bahadurabad, strict security arrangements were made for the visit of the prime minister. The staff also searched several members of the assembly. Due to security reasons, everyone in the venue was barred from using mobile phones.
During today’s visit to Karachi, PM Imran Khan will attend the Ehsas program at the National Stadium. He will also meet members of the Assembly and party leaders at the Governor House and address a public gathering at the Governor House.
After a busy day in Sindh capital, PM Imran Khan will return to Islamabad this evening. Talks are likely to be held in Bahadurabad on the no-confidence motion and support.
The prime minister will also discuss with the MQM leaders about the Urban Development Plan and progress in the Karachi development package. The prime minister has decided to step up contacts against the no-confidence motion.
