ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed satisfaction over the performance of the Ministry of Education in implementing the national curriculum so far and ordered changes in the curriculum as required.
The review meeting chaired by PM Imran Khan was attended by Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Special Assistant Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Parliamentary Secretary Wajiha Akram, and senior officials of the Federal Ministry of Education. They gave a detailed briefing on the teachings of Sirat-un-Nabi included in the curriculum.
It was informed in the briefing that all schools of thought, especially scholars, have been consulted in detail in the preparation of the curriculum, while attention has also been paid to the quality of teacher training and examinations.
Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the Ministry of Education in implementing the national curriculum so far, PM Imran Khan said that the curriculum for sixth to twelfth classes should be finalized by the end of this year. Be reviewed and modified as needed.

The prime minister said that the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) is the beacon for our new generation. The best solution to all social problems is found in the teachings of Sira al-Nabawi.
He said that along with the history of Islam, the golden principles derived from the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) should be taught and explained to the children and the implementation of a national uniform curriculum should be completed soon with the participation of provincial governments.
