PM Khan’s statements should not be taken seriously: Sirajul Haq

JAFARABAD: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that the current government has taken lots of u-turns and that his PM Khan’s statements should not be taken seriously.

Talking to media in Jafarabad, the JI ameer said PTI government should take another u-turn for the sake of masses and cut down the prices of petroleum, electricity, gas and medicines.

He said the present government has failed to make sure the provision of basic necessities to the people; adding the gas tariff has been increased day by day, medicine rates have been shot up by 200percent.

The ruling party is trying to run the motherland’s affairs with slogans merely, which is unfeasible. They should stop aggravating the position further through their oratory.

Sirajul Haq further said the absence of Islamic laws and rules is a key conduce of the problems being faced by the government and public adding that the dictators and elected governments during the last 70 years did not deliver.
