GUJRANWALA: Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the world record planting ceremony tomorrow.
According to the district administration, the plants will be planted on August 12 at 3 pm. Students of government schools will participate in the planting competition. A notification has also been issued to change the school hours to ensure the attendance of students in the evening.
According to the notification, girls ‘schools will be open from 12 noon to 5 pm, while boys’ schools will be open from 12 noon to 5 pm. The notification has been implemented in which it was decided to ensure the attendance of students in the August 12 event, changing the times two days ago so that the children get used to coming to school in the evening.
On the other hand, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has said that drones will be planted in Lahore, Balochistan, and Bahawalpur. Prime Minister Imran Khan has emerged as a world leader in working on climate change.

The Minister of State said that mangroves are the natural guardian of the coast which provides many benefits including protection from cyclones and sea-level rise, mangroves also have excellent carbon sinks which store four times the carbon of ordinary forests.
He said that Pakistan is the only country in the world that has the highest production rate of mangroves, in the last 10 years the production of mangroves has increased by 300%, Balochistan mangroves are also increasing rapidly, and now 12000 acres additional mangroves. Are being grown.
He said that the blue carbon stored in these mangroves is also sufficient and its value is Rs 2.5 billion which can be invested through blue bonds, Pakistan is working on it, protection and expansion of mangroves to local communities and Green is providing employment to locals who live in these coastal areas. He said that it was also the International Day of the Local People and the presence of the Prime Minister in the middle was an acknowledgment of these efforts.
