ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his sorrow over the fires raging through the southern coastal regions of Turkey and assured all possible cooperation, adding that four people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the blaze.
According to the details, the fire that broke out in Turkey four days ago spread havoc across the country. Six provinces, including tourist destinations, are on fire. Emergency services confirmed the deaths of four people as of yesterday, while the fire spread from a resort in the densely populated area, 75 km east of Antalya, to six provinces.
The fire, which broke out at a resort popular with Eastern European tourists, initially spread to the coastal area, where a 25-year-old man lost his life trying to put it out. At least 183 injured people have been admitted to hospitals. According to the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture, the hotel was evacuated due to a new fire on the south coast.

There were 53 fires in Turkey on Wednesday and Thursday this week, most of which were contained. Three planes, 38 helicopters, and 4,000 firefighters are taking part in the firefighting operation. The wildfires killed hundreds of livestock and destroyed more than 120 acres of Turkish farmland.
In a message on Twitter, PM Imran Khan wrote that Pakistan stands by the Turkish government and people in this hour of need, and mourns the loss of precious lives as a result of the terrible forest fires, he added.
Expressing solidarity with the people and government of the brotherly Islamic country of Turkey, PM Khan lamented the devastating fire and said that Pakistan needs all the help and assistance that the Turkish government and people need in this hour of need.
