ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the nation regarding the situation created due to inflation and Tehreek-e- Labaik protests nationwide has been postponed.
Prime Minister Imran had to address the nation today, but now the address has been postponed.
Moreover, at a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan refused to show flexibility with regard to the banned Tehreek-e-Labaik, saying there would be no concessions from those challenging the state’s writ.

“In the process, TLP’s actions have caused public disorder, serious economic losses to the country, besides boosting the morale of other terrorist outfits seeking to challenge the state’s writ,” the committee observed. Though, PM Imran has completely refused to release Ameer Saad Hussain Rizvi of the banned organization.

Earlier, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also called on the proscribed Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) to stick to the promises, saying that the government would not allow Pakistan’s loss at any cost.
