ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Jhelum on Thursday 26th December to lay the foundation stone of the Jalalpur Sharif-Jhelum link canal.
The prime minister will visit Pind Dadan Khan in Jhelum where he will initiate his public contact campaign. He is expected to announce several projects and also address a public gathering.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry announced that Imran Khan will pay a visit to Pind Dadan Khan on Thursday where he will lay the foundation stone of the Jalalpur Sharif-Jhelum canal.
Local authorities have started preparations to welcome the prime minister upon his arrival and have also established a helipad at the site of public gathering.

He is also scheduled to visit Karachi on a one-day stay on 27th December where he will meet party representatives at the Governor House. He will also be given a briefing on the city’s law and order situation during his visit. The prime minister would hold meetings with party representatives and leaders of coalition parties.
Earlier on 21st December, Imran Khan met former law minister Babar Awan in Islamabad to discuss the political situation of the country.
The prime minister stressed that the incumbent government would not let Pakistan be wrecked from the road to stability. The institutions collectively made up the state and that was the state’s job to restore its institutions, he added.
Babar Awan also agreed by saying that the state was in strong hands and praised the prime minister for leading the nation in the right direction during times of crisis.
