ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has chaired a preliminary meeting for the forthcoming 41st meeting of Council of Common Interests today.
The meeting summoned by the prime minister and to be held under his chair was to be attended by the chief ministers of all the four provinces and few members of the federal cabinet to discuss agenda items which will be considered in the next meeting scheduled for 23rd December.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has conveyed a pre-CCI meeting on Friday (today) to discuss agenda items to be considered in the next meeting scheduled for 23rd December.
The Council of Common Interests (CCI) is a constitutional body in the Government of Pakistan. It is appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister. The CCI resolves the disputes of power-sharing between the federation and provinces.
On the other hand, the prime minister will also chair a meeting today at 4 pm to discuss the media strategy. During the meeting, he will provide a media guide on political and judicial matters to the participants. The decision about the core committee meeting held earlier on Wednesday will also be considered.
