PM Imran is personally monitoring coronavirus situation: Firdous Awan

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was personally monitoring whole situation of coronavirus.

In a series of tweets, Firdous Ashiq Awan has assured the people that protecting people’s health was the topmost priority of PM Imran.

Firdous Awan further said that the federal and all the provincial governments, as well as other relevant authorities, were in coordination to curb the outbreak of coronavirus.

She further said that no negligence had been identified anywhere in country regarding treatment and handling of virus patients nor it would be tolerated in future.

In another tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan urged the people of Pakistan to follow precautionary measures to control spread of deadly Coronavirus

She also advised people to avoid public gatherings, handshakes and repeatedly wash their hands. She further urged the masses not to eat at restaurants and prefer to takeaway the meal.

The Special Assistant said that the people would have to demonstrate exemplary discipline and confront this virus with courage, resilience, and unity.
