ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has become the first Pakistani politician to cross 5-million followers on Instagram.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Instagram followers keep growing, with his followers crossing the 5 million on Saturday. The development comes amid his three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.
The latest post on the PM Imran’s account was shared today, where he quoted Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani as saying: “I looked into spiritual works and have not found anything better than giving food to people. Had the world been in my hands, I would not entertain anything except feed the hungry.” The post amassed nearly 300 comments and 24,300 likes in an hour.

PM Imran Khan also has 13.6 million followers on Twitter and has 10.3 million followers on Facebook.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s official page on Facebook had crossed 10 million followers. With that, Imran Khan had become the first and only Pakistani politician to reach 10 million followers on Facebook.
Moreover, Imran Khan has also become the 4th most followed politician in the world on Facebook. Former US President, Barrack Obama, is the most followed politician worldwide on Facebook with 56 million followers.
Barrack Obama is followed by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, with 45.8 million followers who are followed by the incumbent US President, Donald Trump, with 30 million followers. Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan, with 12.7 million followers, remains the most followed Pakistani politician on Twitter as well.
