ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and other politicians have condemned the blast at the madrassah in Peshawar.
While talking to Twitter, the prime minister wrote that he is deeply saddened by the terrorist attack on a madrassah in Peshawar. “My condolences go to the victim’s families and prayers for early recovery of the injured,” he added.

In another tweet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz also condemned the attack on students and wrote that it had nothing to do with humanity. The nefarious intentions of those who are destabilizing the country will be reduced to dust.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has also condemned the Peshawar blast. Mahmood Khan said that targeting students was highly reprehensible and cruel. “Those responsible for the incident will not be able to escape the grip of the law,” Mahmood Khan wrote and also called an emergency meeting over the matter.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has also condemned the blast at Peshawar Madrassah. She said that the loss of children has made her very sad. “It is not possible to imagine and alleviate the grief of the mothers who lost their child,” Maryam Nawaz said.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai condemned the incident, saying the madrassah was a soft target for terrorists. He said that the country would take steps to deal with hostile elements. The provincial minister said that NICTA had issued an alert to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
Shaukat Yousafzai said that there was a fear of terrorist incidents but the location was not known. We are going to deal with terrorist elements in the region.
It may be recalled that seven students were martyred and several others injured in an explosion at a madrassah in the Dir Colony area of Peshawar.

The madrassah is adjacent to the mosque and children from the area used to come there to study the Qur’an. According to AIG Shafqat Malik, pellets and nails were used in at least five kilograms of explosives, which caused more damage.
