KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) issued fares and rules regarding Hajj operation 2022.
The Hajj operation was delayed due to COVID-19 for the last 2 years. Pakistanis will mark the second most visitors landing in Saudia Arabia.
Fares will be determined according to the regions. The flight operations are split into the Northern and Southern regions.
According to a PIA official, fares would be converted from US dollars to Pakistani rupees.
The south region includes Quetta and Karachi where the base fare for ticketing will be $810 and the maximum fares will be $1100.
Fares will slightly vary in the northern region which includes the International airports of Islamabad, Multan Lahore, and Peshawar. Base fares will be $860 and the maximum fares for ticketing will be $1150.

The Hajj operation for 2022 will start from May 31 till July 3. PIA will land in Jeddah and Madinah during this period.
The flight schedule will restart after the end of the Hajj operation from July 13 to August 14.
According to the details, the executive economy class passengers are allowed to bring up to 40kgs of luggage. On the other hand, economy class passengers will be allied 35 kgs of luggage.
Both the passengers are allowed a hand-carry of 7kgs for traveling.
