ISLAMABAD: A physical brawl broke out at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Headquarter Islamabad between Assistant Director Admin Zahid Mahmood and Senior Superintendent Ijaz Ahmed.
According to details, AD Admin Zahid Mahmood, along with his accomplice, thrashed Senior Superintendent Ijaz Ahmed over promotion issue.
Ijaz Ahmed appeared before DG FIA Wajid Zia in connection with his promotion and complained of undue delay by Additional Director Establishment Ismatullah Junejo and Assistant Director Admin Zahid Mahmood.
In this regard, the DG FIA immediately issued orders to redress the grievances of Ijaz Ahmed. Later, when the senior superintendent was present in the admin branch regarding his promotion issue, suddenly the assistant director admin Zahid Mahmood started abusing and beating him.
Meanwhile, the FIA personnel present on the spot stood as spectators instead of rescuing a senior superintendent. Sources have revealed that Additional Director Establishment Ismatullah Junejo, due to his influence, is always engaged in conspiracies against FIA officials.
