ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi has said that Pakistan is on the list of countries selling the cheapest petrol while the price of petrol in other countries is higher than ours.
In his message on social networking site Twitter, Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi said that the price of petrol is in front of us all over the world on September 30, according to which Pakistan is one of the cheapest countries in the world.
Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi also shared a map of petrol prices per liter around the world, according to which the price of petrol in Pakistan is 75 0.75 per liter. Petrol sells for 8 1.87 a liter in the UK and 68 0.68 a liter in Russia.
According to Federal Minister Ali Zaidi, petrol is being sold at 22 1.22 in Canada, 0.93 in the United States, 0.02 in Venezuela, 1.13 in Brazil, 1.64 in Uruguay, 0.62 in Saudi Arabia, 1.38 in India and 17 1.17 per liter in China.
