LAHORE: While every team participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) tries to up its audio-visual game every year, Peshawar Zalmi has been miles ahead of the curve.
Zalmi revealed its official anthem for the seventh edition ahead of their clash today with Quetta Gladiators. Their 2021 anthem ‘Aaya Zalmi’ produced by Rohail Hyatt and Ali Mustafa is easily the most creative and cutting edge audio-visual presentation.
The music video, directed by Hassan Dawar for the third time in a row, features actors Mahira Khan, Ali Rehman and various cricketers from team Zalmi, which include Wahab Riaz, Shoaib, Malik, Kamran Akmal, Hussain Talat, and Usman Qadir.
The franchise said that this Zalmi anthem symbolises “metaphorical representation of life”. “It is all about finding your inner peace and the fight with self to reach one’s true potential,” the Zalmi added.
Zuberi shared news of the anthem’s release on Instagram with her fans. The up and coming singer has written and composed the song under the mentorship of Hyatt.
