Former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians Pervez Khattak has announced his re-activation in politics.
In a statement on Sunday, he said that he was ending a year of political silence, and will demonstrate public power in a rally in Nowshera on February 22, 2025.
He said that he has reconciled with his brother Liaquat Khattak and now both of them will hold a rally together. It should be remembered that Liaquat Khattak joined JUI (F) after leaving PTI.
On January 23, 2025, Pervez Khattak said in a statement: “I am not joking, my government is coming.”
The former Chief Minister of KP said that there was no welfare for the poor in the country, who will end this difference that the child of the poor will become a laborer and the child of the rich will become an officer? “I ensured the attendance of teachers in schools during my tenure,” he added.
“When I became the Chief Minister, I ensured the presence of doctors in hospitals, there was bullying of the poor in the police station, I ended all this, during my time, I provided facilities to the poor in the police station, during Ayub Khan’s time, Pakistan was developing, the country was not in debt,” he said in the recent statement.
It should be noted that Khattak is a master of political maneuvering, while also having many supporters inside the PTI, particularly many members of the Pakhtunkhwa Assembly like him, so in this context, his re-activation in politics indicates a significant change in the KPK.
