ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has convened a meeting of the PDM’s steering committee today.
According to details, important issues will be discussed in the PDM steering committee meeting to be held today under the chairmanship of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Reliable sources claim that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the party leadership are adamant on their decision not to attend the PDM steering committee meeting as in the past.
Leaders of PML-N, Awami National Party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), and other political parties will participate in the PDM steering committee meeting to be held today under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
Today’s meeting of the PDM Steering Committee, chaired by Fazlur Rehman, will discuss the political situation in the country, internal affairs, and economic difficulties, and decide on a future course of action. Earlier, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had called for a nationwide protest against inflation and rejected all electoral reforms made by the government.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement held a four-and-a-half-hour long meeting at the PML-N Secretariat under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman 10 days ago today. The meeting was attended by PML-N’s lifelong leader and former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif from London and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz from Lahore via video link.
