ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) has resolved over millions of public complaints out of 16, 00,000 registered during the shortest period of its inauguration.
According to Pakistan Citizens Portal’s performance report, over 1,600,000 complaints have been received during 2019, about 90 percent of these complaints have been resolved. The report further stated a total of 1.5 million complaints were received from Pakistan, However, a total of 93,000 complaints were submitted to the portal by Pakistanis abroad and overseas.
According to portal performance report more than 700,000 complaints from Punjab, about 200,000 complaints from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 136,000 complaints were filed from Sindh while over 15,000 complaints were registered from Balochistan.
Most of the complaints were registered regarding the municipal, education and energy sectors, while the satisfaction rate on public portal performance was pleasing.
People expressed their resilience to Prime Minister Imran Khan and showed their confidence in detail in resolving their grievances at Citizen Portal. About 40 percent of the citizens admitted the results of the portal as satisfactory.
Earlier, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Media Iftikhar Durrani said the technology-based Complaint Resolution System was launched with on focuses to make sure check and balance and give the message that the public sector departments are accountable to masses.
