LAHORE: Zalmi Foundation, US Consulate General, Lahore and PCB organized Young Girls Cricket Camp in Lahore.
Forty girls from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Lahore participated in the camp, getting coaching tips from Pakistan test cricketer Abid Ali & PCB official coaches.
Carl Rogers, Spokesperson of US Consulate General Lahore, Muhammad Akram, Director Cricket Peshawar Zalmi and Yahya Ghaznavi, GM Archives, PCB National High Performance Center participated in the closing ceremony of the camp and presented prizes and souvenirs on this occasion.
The participants said that organizing such girls cricket camp will promote women’s cricket in Pakistan and especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Earlier, girls cricket camp was organized in 2017 and 2019.
