LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the prize money for the Under-19 ODI tournament that will begin tomorrow.
Prize money of up to Rs 2 million will be distributed in the National Under-19 ODI Tournament. The winning team of the 21-day event will be awarded Rs 1 million and the runners-up Rs 5,00,000.
The best players, batsmen, wicket-keepers, and bowlers of the tournament will get Rs 50,000 each from the PCB. The player who performs best in the match will be given Rs 10,000.
The Sindh Under-19 cricket team will defend the title in the double league-based event. Under-19 cricket activities will start from 13th October. Under-19 teams from six cricket associations will take part in the National Under-19 Three-Day Tournament from 5th November. The final of the tournament will be played on 2nd November.

A total of 119 players in the Cricket Associations’ Under-19 squads have been tested before the tournament. All teams will be placed in a biosecure environment due to the coronavirus.
Balochistan will be captained by Muhammad Ibrahim, Muhammad Ali Harira of Central Punjab, Abbas Ali of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Raza Mustafa of North, Sam Ayub of Sindh, and Muhammad Shehzad of South Punjab.
