In a tragic accident on the Indus Highway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district, 10 people lost their lives and 8 were injured, as reported by national media.
The accident occurred Tuesday morning near Mitha Khel. According to rescue sources, the passenger coach was traveling from Dera Ismail Khan to Peshawar when it suddenly collided with a truck. The collision was so severe that several passengers died on the spot while others were critically injured.
Upon receiving the report, rescue teams promptly reached the scene and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital. According to hospital sources, the condition of some of the injured is critical, raising fears that the death toll may rise.
