ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted moderate rain in some parts of the country.
According to the PMD, rain is predicted to pour in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Balochistan, and southern Punjab but the weather will remain dry in other areas.
Cold weather in Islamabad was recorded this morning at 18 degrees celsius which could go up to 26 degrees. The weather in Islamabad will remain dry and partly cloudy today. The weather will be dry in most of the districts of Balochistan, but rain can be received with thunderstorms in Quetta, Zhob, Harnai, Fort Saifullah and Barkhan.
The weather will be dry in most of the districts of Punjab, however, it is expected that heavy rains will shower in DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, and Liala. The weather will be dry in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but light rains are expected at some places in Kurram, Kohat, Waziristan, DI Khan, and Bannu.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in Sindh, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan today. The weather was dry in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours but Khuzdar and Mohenjodaro recorded 6 and 1 mm of rainfall respectively.
