ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s first app-based sharing service, an eco-friendly bike, is revolutionizing transportation in urban areas. The entire experience from registration to booking and payment is digital.
According to details, ezBike is an app-based service that deploys electric bikes conveniently around the city and makes them available for use by the general public.
Talking to M.M News, the staff member informed that the users can pay Rs5 to unlock the bike and Rs5 per minute on their ride. “Rides can also be paused so that users can stop and run errands while paying a reduced rate of Rs2 per minute,” he added.
“Once charged it can cover a distance of 70 kilometre,” he added. Users can locate and reserve an electric bike parked near them using the ezBike mobile app, ride it themselves to their destination and park it in a designated zone.
The staff member further informed that this service has been launched only for Islamabad. “Later we will start this service in other cities of the country as well,” he informed.
