KARACHI: The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 6,068 and 272,534 people have been affected while 259,604 corona patients have recovered across the country.
Another 17 people died of coronavirus while 782 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. According to the data released by the National Command and Operational Center, the number of active coronavirus cases in the country is currently 18,494.
At least 15,000 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. A total of 2,043,870 COVID-19 tests have been performed across the country.
The number of corona patients in Sindh has risen to 122,759, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 34,432. There are 11,821 patients in Balochistan, 15,182 in Islamabad, 2,124 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 2,287 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 94,040 in Punjab.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,164 in Punjab, 2,250 in Sindh, 1,219 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 170 in Islamabad, 137 in Balochistan, 57 in Azad Kashmir and 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Active coronavirus cases in Pakistan dropped below 20,000, as daily infections fall in Pakistan, according to official data. The nation of over 200 million has a total of 19,770 active cases of the virus.
