ISLAMABAD: UK based online magazine has declared Pakistani transgender Aisha Mughal one of the most successful transgender persons in the world for the year 2020.
The list of transgender, who were able to make history and did unbelievable things during the yearn 2019, was published in an international magazine ‘Pink news.’ The magazine lists down 28 most famous positive examples of the trans and non-binary people around the world who were able to make difference at global level.
For the first time in the world history, Aisha Mughal represented Pakistan at the United Nations as part of the government delegation that presented the case of human rights in Pakistan before the UN Convention on Elimination of all Kinds of Discrimination against Women Committee in Geneva.
Aisha Mughal is a Transgender Rights Expert and Focal Person at the Ministry of Human Rights. She has been dynamically advocating for the empowerment, health, and rights of the transgender community across Pakistan.
