A ban on Pakistani artists, which was placed in 2016, has finally been lifted and as they can work in India.
There has been a ban on Pakistani artists in India for seven years now due to which several Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Atif Aslam, and Ali Zafar had been banned from working in India.
However, as per the latest reports, the Bombay High Court has recently rejected a petition that sought to ban them from working in the country.
While rejecting the plea filed against the ban, the bench stated in the order that arts, music, sports, culture, dance, and so on are the activities that rise above nationalities, cultures, and nations and truly bring about peace, tranquillity, unity, and harmony in nation and between nations.

1) Fawad Khan
Everyone’s heartthrob from Pakistan is charmed by many Indians as well. Khan made his Bollywood debut with 2014’s ‘Khoobsurat (2014)’ alongside Sonam Kapoor. He later worked alongside Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra in ‘Kapoor and Sons’ (2016) and later made a cameo in 2017’s ‘Aye Dil Hai Mushkil’.
2) Mahira Khan
After the international success of the 2011’s film ‘Bol’, Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut in 2026’s ‘Raees’ opposite to the Bollywood King himself Shah Rukh Khan.
3) Ali Zafar
Another Pakistani heartthrob who managed to steal the hearts of adoring fans with not only his voice but great acting skills is Ali Zafar.

Imran’s irresistible looks and success has made him a household name in Pakistan. He made his debut in Vikram Bhatt’s horror thriller Creature 3D opposite Bipasha Basu and later appeared on Jaanisaar
6) Javed Sheikh
Senior Pakistani actor Javed Sheikh has worked in many Bollywood movies and some of the notable films are ‘Namastey London’ with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, and ‘Om Shanti Om’ with Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster, he has proved his talent alongside Indian superstars.
7) Mikaal Zulfiqar
Mikaal ventured into Bollywood with the action thriller Baby (2015) alongside Akshay Kumar. However, with the film banned in Pakistan due to the controversy surrounding terrorism his Pakistani fans were unable to see him on screen.
