Pakistan will always speak for its Kashmiri brethren: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan will always speak for its Kashmiri brethren.

FM Qureshi took to Twitter and said that, “Kashmiris will not be silenced,” adding that Pakistan’s support for the valiant people of Kashmir was unwavering.

He further said that Pakistan would continue to fight for Kashmir’s right to self-determination in accordance with the United National Security Council resolutions.

The Foreign Minister said that Kashmiri people’s desire for freedom and a life with dignity cannot be suppressed even through tyranny.

He said, “For 72 years the spirit of the Kashmiri people has not been broken, how then can a 6-month curfew extinguish their thirst for freedom.
