RAWALPINDI: The first match of the T20I series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played today.
The match between the two teams will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium starting at 3.30 pm. Regarding the match, the captain of the national cricket team Babar Azam had said in a video link press conference that he would play well in the T20 series as well as in the ODI series against Zimbabwe.
He said that Shadab Khan will not be available in the first T20. He said that Rawalpindi’s wicket is beneficial for fast bowlers. He said that he would try to benefit from the experience of Muhammad Hafeez. “As a captain, the responsibility has increased, I always think of the team,” Azam asserted.

“Shaheen Shah wants to play as much as he can to gain experience, but we will use him with care,” he said. Earlier in the ODI series, the national team had beaten Zimbabwe 2-1.
On the other hand, all-rounder Shadab Khan will not participate in the first T20 match of the Pak-Zimbabwe series. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board spokesperson, the doctors have decided to give Shadab Khan more rest.
