The national cricket team will depart for Bangladesh on July 16. The white-ball head coach will arrive in Lahore in the first week of July, as reported by national media on Sunday.
According to sources, white-ball head coach Mike Hesson will arrive in Lahore in the first week of July and will join the national cricket team on July 6 or 7. Upon Mike Hesson’s arrival, a meeting of the selection committee is also expected.
The selection committee will announce the final squad after consulting with the head coach and the captain. The team camp for the three T20 matches scheduled in Dhaka is likely to be held in Karachi.
According to sources, once again young cricketers will be given an opportunity against Bangladesh. However, the chances of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan being included in the T20 team are low. There are chances of fast bowler Shaheen Afridi being selected for the Bangladesh T20 series.
The Pakistan cricket team will depart for Bangladesh on July 16. Officials stated that the national cricket team will play three T20 matches during the Bangladesh tour.
