RAWALPINDI: Another Indian spy drone has been destroyed by the Pakistan Army, bringing the number of enemy spy quadcopters (drones) shot down this year to 16.
According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army (DG ISPR), an Indian quadcopter entered the Pakistani water in the hot water sector of the LoC up to 100 meters, which was acted upon by the Pakistan Army.
Indian drones destroyed Indian drones in the Tattapani sector of the LoC, while 16 Indian quadcopters violating international law on the LOC have been destroyed this year, the statement stated.
Earlier, the Pakistan Army had targeted Indian quadcopters on 5th June, 28th June, 25th May, and 27th May. India’s 11th drone was destroyed on 9th September and the 10th on 26th July.
It may be recalled that the Pakistan Army had destroyed the Chakothi sector of the 11th Indian Drone LoC. According to DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar, the Indian spy drone had penetrated 500 meters into Pakistani territory.
On 26th July this year, the Pakistan Army shot down India’s tenth spy drone in the Pando sector of the Line of Control (LoC), which had penetrated 200 meters inside Pakistan.
